Life has changed forever… Alarming video raises Questions

Life has changed forever… unless they find a miracle cure for the COVID-19 coronavirus in the next few weeks OR unless everybody obeys the rules and observes government guidelines, sufficient for the virus to be eradicated. (Hmmm?) Otherwise, there is no way back from the lock-down, to what we know as a ‘normal’ life that most countries have been experiencing.

Many of you will recognise that we now face economic collapse and the breakdown in society as we know it. This is NOT scare mongering but reality, so this piece is written to those of you who have been our friends and brethren and have heard the alarm we have sounded for several years as The Lord led us all to prepare – not just practically – but most importantly, to prepare spiritually not only for what is happening now – but what is yet to come.
What is happening around the world has already started to separate those in Christendom who (1) are actually walking WITH The Lord and who are listening to His voice, living their life at peace with their neighbours (Romans 12:18), being the salt and light you are asked to be (Matthew 5:13-16) and (2) those who have not been and are now scared out their wits and wanting to get back into the right place with Him and praying they’re not too late.
The good news is that you’re not too late – but the doors may well be starting to close and that is why The Lord in His mercy gives such hugely visible signs – such as pestilence – to give you this chance. You too can be the prodigal who returns and whose Father is waiting with arms open wide. Read Joel 2:12…
And then there are those in group (3) who THINK they are walking with Him and are gung-ho and ready for battle – in the wrong kind of way – because that is your nature and you mix with others of the same ilk. For example, 1 Timothy 6 says such people are “… puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.” Read the whole section for context and also Galatians 5:16-25

IF you believe that The Bible is God’s Word and that Paul’s letter to the Romans is included in that, here is what he considers as: Marks of the True Christian – Romans 12:9-21

“Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.“

So, how are you doing in YOUR part of the world? We’ve been receiving messages from all over. For example, some states in the US are dealing with things differently from one another. The Philippines, Singapore, England, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand are getting by, but South Africa, Peru and Israel aren’t doing too well … So, have the tanks rolled out in your area yet? Some governments or states feel that their extra help is required where people aren’t doing what is asked of them, because so many people think they know better or are above the law – and this is one of the things that gives us a bad name.
As mentioned above, if you REALLY know your Bible and what it says – rather than what you THINK it says, you will know how to be living your life just now but if you need help or support in any way, let us know here – and we’ll see what we can do to put you in touch with others – although I’m afraid we may not be able to help you if we don’t know you – for example if you’re not one of our ‘friends’ on social media or a member here, but we’ll do our best.
